COVID-19 Update: How ServiceOne is Preparing and Responding

Like many of you, ServiceOne is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updates about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very carefully. We felt it necessary to communicate with you, our loyal customers, as we enter your residences and businesses daily. There is no higher priority to us than the well-being of our customers, their families, and our staff.

The only decision was, and is, to continue providing service to our customers until told otherwise.

As we navigate through the uncertainties in the days to come, working home systems and appliances will continue to be incredibly important, especially in self-quarantine situations. Just as a functioning fridge and freezer are critical for food storage purposes, heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical are all essential to your health and well-being.

Not only are these systems necessary, but we highly recommend continuing your HVAC maintenance to make sure equipment is running correctly and delivering clean, filtered air into your home. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, “concentrations of some (indoor) pollutants are often 2 to 5 times higher than typical outdoor concentrations.” We emphasize this statistic because chances are, you’ll be spending a lot more time at home, given the circumstances, and air quality plays a significant factor in your overall health.

Our technicians and plumbers will be following a specific protocol to protect our customers and themselves while in homes and businesses:

  1. Social distancing.
  2. Washing hands before and after each service call.
  3. Sanitizing common areas of their vehicles, tools, and electronic devices after each service call.
  4. Sanitizing the work area/ equipment/ appliance in the home or business.
  5. We will not allow employees that are sick or have sick family members to come to work or go into homes or places of business.

We are happy to serve you in these trying times, thank you for the opportunity to do so…

Important scheduling information:

If there is anyone in your home demonstrating symptoms of fever or respiratory problems, we will not route a technician to your home. If anyone in your home has returned from international travel within the past 14 days, we will not route a technician to your home.

ServiceOne is following strict guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers, our technicians, and all of the families involved.

We appreciate your understanding.
